Next Level Administrators is a national leader of goal-oriented workers’ compensation solutions integrating data and people to provide claims administration and program management services to Carriers, Program Administrators, Captives and Self-Insured Employers.

Andrew Olwert – President

Andy Olwert was named President of Next Level Administrators in October of 2015. He is responsible for formulating, implementing and managing the strategic plan guiding the company’s vision, mission and overall direction. Mr. Olwert is the catalyst for opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards.

Mr. Olwert is a graduate of Florida State University with a major in Risk Management and Insurance. He has over 30 years of business management and development experience working for major insurance companies, regulators, commercial insurance agencies and as an entrepreneur.

In 1995, Mr. Olwert founded Unisource Administrators and built it into a highly successful and respected $40 million enterprise consisting of a Third Party Claims Administration Company, a Managing General Agency (MGA) and a Managed Care Company. In addition, Mr. Olwert is a pioneer in the areas of claims administration, managed care, cost containment and the implementation of performance based cultures within MGAs and carriers.

Lisa Wagner – Vice President of Claims

As Vice President of Claims, Ms. Wagner is responsible for the oversight of the claim management, claim operations, compliance and client relations. She has over 24 years of claims experience in various industries including health care, governmental entities, multi-state claims administration, law enforcement/fire fighters, PEOs, transportation, restaurant and hospitality.

Prior to joining Next Level Administrators, Ms. Wagner held the position of Vice President of Alternative Service Concepts, a national multi-line third party administrator headquartered in Nashville Tennessee.

Additionally, she has held various claim management positions including Assistant Vice President for a third party administrator servicing multi-state carriers, self insurance funds and governmental entities.

Ms. Wagner holds her All Lines Adjuster license for Florida, Georgia and Mississippi as well as having a Board Certification in Workers’ Compensation designation (CWC). She is a committee member for the Workers’ Compensation Institute(WCI) and has been a speaker at the WCI Education Conference for the past eight years.

Angela Blanch – Vice President of Business Development

As Vice President of Business Development with Next Level Administrators, Angela Blanch is responsible for new business acquisitions, consultative services, client relationships, and marketing. She has over 17 years of experience managing client relationships in Workers’ Compensation, Liability, FMLA, Disability, & Absence Management.

Before joining Next Level Administrators, Ms. Blanch enjoyed a career working for various TPA’s including CorVel Corporation, Sedgwick CMS, Cambridge, and GatesMcDonald. Her strengths are managing client relationships, analyzing program trends and consulting on client programs to bring employers financial success. Experience includes managing insurance company relationships, direct client relationships, insured programs, self-insured programs and PEOs. She has a proven track record of working with clients to develop strategies to shorten claims duration, improve return to work programs and reduce overall financial expense. Ms. Blanch’s success is a result of focusing on client solutions, ensuring customers’ goals are met, growing their profitability and becoming part of their team.

Despite her demanding career, Ms. Blanch makes time to be involved with the community. She is currently an active coach and run buddy for Girls on The Run of Naples. She also participates in community outreach programs through project serve, habitat for humanity, and making strides for breast cancer awareness.

John Sells – Chief Data Officer

John Sells is a seasoned data management professional with over 10 years of experience leading and developing teams for a boutique data consulting services firm. As Chief Data Officer, Mr. Sells will manage the data analytics team’s performance and drive corporate culture. He has built and led highly productive and motivated teams capable of translating business strategy into technical solutions. His experience in application and data architecture design, data migration, data warehousing, and business intelligence will help the organization achieve its goal of establishing an industry-leading data analytics competency. Mr. Sells also brings significant project management experience to the team including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management of major organizational programs.

Mr. Sells holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, is a Certified Data Management Professional (Mastery level) and a Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner. He has also presented at a number of conferences nationwide on data warehousing, data quality, and enterprise data management.

Karen Akens – Business Analyst

Karen Akens is an experienced business and data analyst with management consulting, business process improvement, and project management skills honed over the last 25 years. In her role as business analyst, Ms. Akens will provide insights to data through data visualization while improving overall data management practices. Her expertise includes in-depth analysis of business processes, analysis of data and data sources, and development and communication of data-centric tailored solutions that add business value. Ms. Akens has helped clients improve data flow logistics, monitor and increase data quality, and develop data governance standards. Her prior experience also includes software development, implementation, and user training and support.

She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Urban Studies from Northwestern University, is a Certified Data Management Professional, and serves on the board of the Central Virginia chapter of the International Data Management Association. She has presented sessions on data governance, data quality, and data stewardship at several local and national conferences.

 

Heidi Sellers – Program Manager

In July of 2015, Ms. Sellers joined SUNZ Insurance Solutions then transferred to Next Level Administrators when it was established in October of 2015. As a Program Manager, she is responsible for ensuring the delivery of service and results that meet client expectations by team managers and accounts she manages. Ms. Sellers has over 15 years of experience managing claims in the Workers’ Compensation industry. She is highly regarded by her peers and clients as a true professional dedicated to teamwork and exceptional customer service.

Ms. Sellers’ 15 years of experience includes working with third party administrators and large nationally-based insurers. While employed with those organizations she managed claims for individual self-insureds, professional employer organizations, governmental agencies and the Florida Worker’s Compensation Guarantee Association. Because of the diversity of her background and experience, she developed a keen understanding of the importance of building strong client relationships and the ability to investigate, evaluate and resolve complex claims in a fast-paced business environment. Ms. Sellers is licensed in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Robert I. Seliskar, RN, CRRN, CCM – Director of Medical Management

As the Director of Medical Management, Mr. Seliskar is responsible for the triage of new claims, medical oversight of catastrophic injuries, coordination of treatment plans and medical cost projections. He also collaborates with the claim staff for medical causality decisions and vendor due diligence. With more than 30 years of nursing expertise, Mr. Seliskar serves as a highly respected and versatile clinical resource for Next Level Administrators. Mr. Seliskar is a Certified Case Manager and Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse with multiple state licensures.

For the 14 years prior to joining Next Level Administrators, Mr. Seliskar was a Field Case Manager with Corvel Corporation specializing in traumatic injuries in both workers’ compensation and marine law. He has also worked in various corporate level positions as a rehabilitation nurse consultant, a mobile subacute specialist, and a mobile case manager and has maintained a private practice in case management, specializing in traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries.

Andrew T. Price, ARM, AIC – Dallas Branch Manager

Andrew Price joined Next Level Administrators as the Branch Manager of the Dallas office. The staff in the Dallas office, which opened in November 2016, will manage multiple jurisdictions as well as offer clients a local presence.  Mr. Price will be responsible for overseeing the branch operations, directing adjusters in delivering service and claim outcomes that meet clients’ expectations, and ensuring all claims meet regulatory compliance.

Mr. Price has more than 28 years of claims adjusting, supervision, management and risk management experience which has provided him with vast working knowledge of multiple jurisdictions in the workers’ compensation arena.  His past employment includes working for the Texas Legislature and the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation, a third party administrator, and as a risk manager for a Professional Employer Organization. He has experience managing claims in industries such as construction, hospitals, municipalities, transportation, and PEO/Temporary Staffing entities. Mr. Price has served as both a carrier and employer representative in numerous administrative hearings and in Federal and State court proceedings.

Mr. Price has a degree in Economics from the University of Regis in Denver, Colorado. He has obtained both the Associate of Risk Management (ARM) and Associate of Claims (AIC) designations and has a Texas Workers’ Compensation adjusting license. Mr. Price is a certified Texas state trainer and has been a public speaker at several conferences and seminars.

Kathy Fortier – Atlanta Branch Manager & Compliance/EDI Manager

Kathy Fortier’s branch manager responsibilities include branch operations oversight, and she will work closely with a large broker in the Atlanta area. In addition to her branch manager role, Ms. Fortier will hold the position of Compliance / EDI Manager. As the Compliance/EDI Manager she will be responsible for the submission of all documents to various states in accordance with statutory regulations.

Ms. Fortier has over 30 years of experience in managing Workers’ Compensation in multiple states and Canada. Prior to joining Next Level Administrators, Ms. Fortier was a claims manager for a large self-insured trucking company. She has also held supervisory positions for national carriers and managed claims for large corporations with high self-insured retentions and performance based accounts.

Ms. Fortier is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BA in History with a minor in Business Administration. Currently, she holds licenses in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Maine, Connecticut, Texas, Louisiana and Alabama. She has received designations as an Associate in Risk Management and an Associate in Claims and is a member of the Atlanta Claims Association and the National Association of Professional Women.

Victor Ontaneda – Orlando Branch Manager

As the Orlando branch manager, Victor Ontaneda’s responsibilities will be to direct adjusters in delivering service and claim outcomes that meet clients’ expectations, and ensuring all claims meet regulatory compliance. Under Mr. Ontaneda’s leadership, his team will manage multiple jurisdictions. He has a keen understanding of financial factors affecting employers and insurance companies and how to obtain the best outcome.

Mr. Ontaneda has over 10 years of experience in the Workers’ Compensation industry in adjusting, supervising, management, auditing and account management with Liberty Mutual and York Risk Services Group. He has supervised and managed various offices around the country with multiple jurisdictions involved. Mr. Ontaneda also worked for Bloomberg as an Equity Fundamental Analyst for Latin American countries and Portugal. His experience in the financial and insurance industries gives him an insightful approach to managing claims and mitigating exposure.

A graduate of The College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey, Mr. Ontaneda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Economics. He holds licenses for the states of Florida, Delaware, New York, Vermont and Alabama and has been a speaker in different Workers’ Compensation seminars.
